Your future money,
mapped today.
Alumbus is a cash-flow forecasting app for iPhone. It takes
the money you have and the money you know is coming, and fills in every day ahead
— so a shortfall shows up weeks before it arrives.
No account. No bank connection. Your figures stay on your phone.
A closer look
One question, five screens
The calendar
Every day, already worked out.
Each day carries what goes in, what goes out and the balance you are left with at the end of it. Days that breach a limit are marked where they fall, so a problem is a square on a calendar rather than a surprise.
The forecast
A shortfall has a date.
Thirty days, ninety days, six months or a year, with the lowest and highest points named and dated. Alumbus tells you when an account is forecast to cross a warning level, an arranged overdraft or a credit limit — weeks before it does.
Accounts and groups
Everything you hold, and everything you owe.
Current accounts, savings, credit cards, loans. Group them — “Everything at the bank”, “What I owe” — and see any group’s combined position. Credit cards and loans can show as an amount owed rather than a negative number.
A day in detail
Confirm what is real.
Tap a day to see exactly what falls on it, and tell Alumbus what an account really held. It shows the difference against what it expected and restarts the forecast from your figure, so small errors never pile up.
The repayment calculator
Pay the right amount.
A credit-card balance is two debts: instalment plans already on a schedule, and the revolving balance charged interest every month it survives. Alumbus works out the figure in between, and shows each plan statement by statement.
